Chandler Smith Fends Off Kyle Larson for Bristol Truck Win

Chandler Smith had nothing about question marks in regard to his NASCAR National Series driving career in the offseason. With weeks before the start of the 2025 season, Smith signed to drive full-time in the NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series with Front Row Motorsports.

Six races into the season, Smith was rewarded with a dominant win at Bristol as he held off Kyle Larson in the closing laps of Friday night’s Weather Guard Truck Race at Bristol to pick up his sixth career NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series win.

“I’m more excited for this team than I am for myself. This group came together, we hired my crew chief like three weeks before Daytona, just take that in for a second, this group just got assembled literally in January,” Smith said in his post-race interview.
