Chandler Smith Notches Second Straight Xfinity Series Pole with Fast Time at New Hampshire
Chandler Smith, the NASCAR Xfinity Series Rookie of the Year contender, has become a qualifying machine as he scored his second-consecutive pole for Kaulig Racing on Friday. The driver of the No. 16 Chevrolet Camaro will lead the field to green in the Ambetter Health 200 at New Hampshire.
John Hunter Nemechek was the final car to go out in the qualifying session, but he just couldn’t quite knock Smith off the pole and he’ll start from second.

Video: Kaz Grala Clobbered By Spinning Ryan Sieg in Xfinity Practice from New Hampshire
Alright, that’s a thing that happened. In the closing moments of NASCAR Xfinity Series practice at New Hampshire, it looked like Ryan Sieg lost brakes entering Turn 1, went for a spin, and collided with Kaz Grala. Both drivers would wipe out.

William Byron to Contest Battle at Berlin With Support From U.S. Radiator
William Byron, who just finished 10th on Tuesday at the Slinger Nationals, will get back behind the wheel of the Super Late Model as he’ll contest the Battle at Berlin on August 9th.
Byron will pilot the No. 24 entry for Anthony Campi Racing and he’ll carry sponsorship from U.S. Radiator in the event. Byron won The Money in the Bank 150 at Berlin last season.

Ryan Preece Joins SRX for Relocated Event at Stafford Motor Speedway
Ryan Preece, a full-time competitor in the NASCAR Cup Series, will run the second Camping World SRX Racing event of the season, which will now be run at Stafford Motor Speedway instead of Thunder Road Speedbowl, due to historic flooding in Vermont.
Preece, who hails from Connecticut, is no stranger to Stafford and it should make for a popular addition to the field for next week’s race. Preece will be the 13th driver in the field. The series typically runs 12 cars, but will sometimes expand to 13.

Alex Tagliani Holds Back Kevin Lacroix, MA Camirand for Victory on Streets of Toronto
Alex Tagliani took the pole for Friday’s NASCAR Pinty’s Series race on the streets of Toronto, and after an impassioned battle with Andrew Ranger and Kevin Lacroix throughout the event, he pulled off the victory, his first of the 2023 season.
Tagliani is now a six-time winner on street courses in the NASCAR Pinty’s Series.
