Chad Finchum Returns to MBM Motorsports For Martinsville Xfinity Race

Chad Finchum will make his first attempt at a 2023 NASCAR Xfinity Series start next weekend at Martinsville Speedway, as he’ll pilot the No. 66 Ford Mustang for MBM Motorsports. Finchum, who made two races a season ago, will look to get the No. 66 team into its fourth NASCAR Xfinity Series race of the 2023 season.
Finchum, 28, has made 107 starts in his NASCAR Xfinity Series career with a best finish of 11th coming at Talladega Superspeedway back in 2020.

Former NASCAR Driver Billy Johnson Charged with Choking New York Woman; Denies Allegations

Billy Johnson, who competed in six combined races in NASCAR Xfinity and NASCAR Cup Series competition between 2010 and 2017, was arraigned on Thursday on charges that he choked a woman in Onondaga, New York in February.
On Thursday, Johnson appeared in town court virtually and his attorney entered pleas of not guilty on both accounts. “My client adamantly denies these allegations,” Johnson’s lawyer, David Hammond, said in an email to Syracuse.com. “We look forward to the truth coming out in the very near future.”
Johnson is scheduled to return to court in June.

Inclement Weather Cancels All Friday On-Track Activity from Bristol

What is it about Mother Nature and NASCAR not getting along? On Friday, weather canceled all on-track activity for the NASCAR Cup Series and NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series teams at the Dirt Bristol Motor Speedway.
As such, the Cup and Truck teams will roll into the remainder of the weekend without a practice session to tinker with and tune their cars and trucks.
