TRICON Garage has added Bubba Wallace to the driver roster of its No. 1 Toyota Tundra, as Wallace will pilot the entry in the NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series events at Darlington Raceway and North Wilkesboro Speedway.
Wallace will carry sponsorship from Stone Country Records recording artist Annie Bosko at Darlington, and he will have the colors of Pristine Auctions on the truck at North Wilkesboro. Wallace has two NASCAR Cup Series wins and six NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series wins in his career.

The entry list for the May 16th ASA STARS event at North Wilkesboro Speedway dropped on Thursday, and boy, oh, boy, there are quite a few NASCAR names on the 34-car entry list.
Among the names are SIX full-time NASCAR National Series racers including LEGACY MOTOR CLUB teammates Erik Jones and Noah Gragson from the NASCAR Cup Series.
Sammy Smith, who drives for Joe Gibbs Racing in the NASCAR Xfinity Series, is on the list as well. And Carson Hocevar, Grant Enfinger and Ty Majeski are NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series drivers on the entry list.

Matt Kenseth, the 2003 NASCAR Cup Series champion and NASCAR Hall of Famer, will return to the SRX Racing Series during the 2023 season. Kenseth, who scored two podium finishes in three starts in the series in 2022, will compete in one race in 2023.
Surprisingly, Kenseth — a known pavement racer — will make his lone start on the dirt at Eldora. Kenseth, who ran the Tony Stewart Prelude to the Dream special event from 2005 to 2011 at Eldora, says that if he could have changed anything about his racing career, it would have been to run dirt earlier in his career.
The SRX Racing event at Eldora Speedway will take place on Thursday, August 10th and will be televised on ESPN.

Rajah Caruth will pilot a No. 24 truck that carries a special throwback scheme for the family of NASCAR trailblazer Wendell Scott. The red, white and blue paint scheme was the same scheme that Scott had on what he described as, “the best car I ever drove,” which was a 1971 Mercury Cyclone that he ran at Talladega Superspeedway in 1973.
While the scheme represents a dream for Scott, it equally represents a nightmare as Scott was horribly injured in a Lap 8 crash in that Talladega race in 1973. Determined to not let those injuries end his career, Scott battled back from multiple fractures in his leg, injuries to his knees, pelvis and ribs, to race one more time later that season before calling it a career.
Caruth will now look to give the paint scheme the good run that Scott had hoped for back in 1973.

On Thursday, NASCAR announced five-time NASCAR Weekly Series National Champion Larry Phillips and Two-time NASCAR Xfinity Series champion Sam Ard to its 75 Greatest Drivers list. There are just six drivers left to be announced the list that the sanctioning body is putting together for the 75th Anniversary Season. All 75 drivers will be honored next weekend at Darlington Raceway.
