Bubba Wallace Fined $50,000 for Chicago Post-Race Run-In with Alex Bowman
On Wednesday morning, NASCAR issued its weekly penalty report, and contained within the report was a penalty for Bubba Wallace for his post-race incident on track with race-winner Alex Bowman after Sunday’s NASCAR Cup Series Street Race at Chicago.
Wallace was fined $50,000 for the post-race contact for being found to be in violation of Sections 4.4.B & D of the NASCAR Member Code of Conduct. Chase Elliott who contacted Daniel Suarez’s car during the cool-down lap at Chicago was not on the report.
In addition to Wallace’s penalty, NASCAR announced the indefinite membership revocation of Christopher Freman for violating sections 4.4.D of the NASCAR Member Code of Conduct.

Stephen Mallozzi to Attempt NASCAR Xfinity Debut with Gase, Double Duty at Pocono
Stephen Mallozzi, who has contested six NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series races, with a best finish of 22nd, over the last three seasons is slated to make his NASCAR Xfinity Series debut in Saturday’s Explore the Pocono Mountains 225 at Pocono Raceway. Mallozzi will pilot the No. 35 entry for Joey Gase Motorsports with primary sponsorship from Great Pocono Homes.
Additionally, Mallozzi will run double-duty for the first time in his professional driving career as he’ll also drive the No. 27 Ford F-150 for Reaume Brothers Racing in Friday’s NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series event at Pocono.

Conor Daly Joins Sam Hunt Racing for Indianapolis NASCAR Xfinity Race
Hometown boy Conor Daly will return to the iconic Indianapolis Motor Speedway for the upcoming NASCAR Xfinity Series Pennzoil 250 at The Brickyard. Daly will pilot the No. 26 Toyota GR Supra for Sam Hunt Racing, and his car will feature the pink, purple, and white colors of Polkadot.
Polkadot, a core of Web3 for developers, also served as Daly’s primary sponsorship partner in the Indianapolis 500 back in May.

ICYMI: Noah Gragson Joins 2025 Front Row Motorsports Driver Lineup in Multi-Year Deal
In case you missed yesterday’s edition of the newsletter, Noah Gragson officially announced his plans for the 2025 NASCAR Cup Series season. The current driver of the No. 10 Stewart-Haas Racing Ford Mustang Dark Horse will move over to Front Row Motorsports in a car to be numbered later.
Gragson’s deal with the organization is a multiyear agreement, and it will team Gragson with Todd Gilliland and a third driver to be announced later in the Front Row Motorsports NASCAR Cup Series driver stable next season.
