Brad Perez Lands Four-Race NASCAR Xfinity Deal With Emerling-Gase in 2023
Brad Perez, one of the most likeable figures in the NASCAR National Series garage, will return to the NASCAR Xfinity Series in 2023, piloting an entry for Emerling-Gase Motorsports.
Perez will begin a stint of what will be at least four NASCAR Xfinity Series events in 2023 with Circuit of The Americas in March. The remainder of his schedule with the organization, as well as which entry he will drive has yet to be determined, and will be announced at a later date.
“COTA is the only for sure race that we have locked down. We are going to do four races, at least,” Perez explained to TobyChristie.com. “Could be more depending on sponsorship, but the deal is for four right now.”
In July, Emerling-Gase Motorsports announced that they will field two full-time entries in the NASCAR Xfinity Series, the No. 35 and No. 53. Additional details surrounding the team’s lineup will be forthcoming.
Bass Pro Shops Returns as Multi-Race Primary Sponsor For RCR, Austin Dillon in 2023
Bass Pro Shops, a long-time sponsor of Richard Childress Racing, will return to the organization in 2023, serving as a multi-race primary sponsor for Austin Dillon and the No. 3 Chevrolet Camaro, the organization announced.
Alongside the sponsorship announcement, Richard Childress Racing unveiled the paint scheme for the entry in 2023, which differs from the design used in season’s previous. An exact schedule of events for Bass Pro Shops’ sponsorship was not released.
Tyler Reddick Competing in Select Xfinity Series Races for Sam Hunt Racing
Tyler Reddick, a two-time NASCAR Xfinity Series champion, will return to the series on a part-time basis in 2023, joining Sam Hunt Racing for select events in the No. 24 Toyota GR Supra, the team announced Monday.
Reddick, who last scored a victory in the series at Texas in 2022 for Big Machine Racing, will begin his slate with the two-car organization at Auto Club Speedway, with additional events to be announced at a later date.
The Corning, California-native joins Connor Mosack as the two drivers announced to pilot the No. 24 Toyota Supra throughout the 2023 NASCAR Xfinity Series season. Mosack is scheduled to compete in 20 events, beginning at Phoenix. Kaz Grala will drive the team’s No. 26 full-time.
