Brad Keselowski Snaps 110-Race Winless Streak with Darlington Victory
After 1,113 days, the longest winless streak of Brad Keselowski’s NASCAR Cup Series career has come to a close.
The 40-year-old racer put himself in position to take home the win in Sunday’s Goodyear 400 at Darlington after taking advantage of a close-quarters battle for the win between RFK Racing teammate Chris Buescher and race dominator Tyler Reddick.
That battle resulted in major contact, and eventually a flat tire for both drivers, promoting then-third-place Brad Keselowski to the race lead with less than 10 laps to go.
“What a heck of a day. It’s Darlington, so whether it’s your first win or your last win, this is a really special track,” said Keselowski. “The history of NASCAR, it’s as tough as it gets, and that battle at the end with my teammate [and] Tyler Reddick, we just laid it all out on the line, it was freaking awesome.”

The crescendo of Sunday’s NASCAR Cup Series Goodyear 400 at Darlington Raceway was like a powderkeg. The intensity continued to ramp up as three drivers battled tooth-and-nail for the race win in the closing laps.
On the final restart of the race, it was a fevered battle between Brad Keselowski and Tyler Reddick, which brought Chris Buescher into the conversation. When Keselowski and Reddick made contact for the lead, Buescher scooted past them both, and looked like he was marching toward his first win of the year.
Video: William Byron’s Three-Wide Move Sends Ryan Blaney Out of Race
While battling for the fourth position on a Lap 129 restart in Sunday’s NASCAR Cup Series Goodyear 400 at Darlington Raceway, Ryan Blaney got put into the outside wall after William Byron opted to put Blaney and Martin Truex Jr. into a three-wide situation entering Turn 1.
As the trio sped through the corner, Byron’s No. 24 Hendrick Motorsports Chevrolet skidded up the track, and slightly touched Truex, which sent Truex, who had decided to back out of the gas, into Blaney.
Blaney would tag the wall, and then would be tagged from behind by others that couldn’t slow from the incident. While his team would attempt to make repairs, Blaney’s day would come to an end as the Damaged Vehicle Policy clock would expire on pit road.
