Alex Bowman Honoring Johnson, Knaus with Throwback Paint Scheme
Alex Bowman and the No. 48 Hendrick Motorsports team will have a very familiar paint scheme for Darlington Raceway’s throwback weekend. Bowman will pilot the paint scheme that Jimmie Johnson ran for the team from 2002 to 2004 as he laid the foundation for a legandary career.
The scheme is a tribute to Johnson and crew chief Chad Knaus, both of whom were enshrined in the NASCAR Hall of Fame recently.

Brad Keselowski, RFK Racing Throwing it Back to 1997 Castrol TOM’s Supra
Sure, Brad Keselowski and RFK Racing field Ford Mustangs, but for Darlington’s Throwback weekend, Keselowski will be cruising around in a legendary Toyota paint scheme. The 1997 GT500 championship winning No. 36 Castrol TOM’s Supra paint scheme will be what is on Keselowski’s No. 6 machine.
The TOM’s Supra was created as a competitor for the ultra-fast Nissan Skyline in the Japan sportscar ranks, and within a couple of years, the machine had made it to the top by way of a tie-breaker championship in 1997.

Razzle Dazzle Grapes Joins Corey LaJoie, Spire for Throwback Race at Darlington
Corey LaJoie is set to throw it back to… himself in the Goodyear 400 at Darlington Raceway. LaJoie will pilot a car that bears a striking resemblence to his first NASCAR K&N Pro Series East (now known as ARCA Menards Series East) win in 2012 at Bowman Gray Stadium.
The colors of the car are a little different due to primary sponsorship from Razzle Dazzle Premium Grapes, but it’s still a cool throwback.

Rette Jones Racing Fielding Entry for Noah Gragson in Four Xfinity Series Events
Rette Jones Racing, which competes in the ARCA Menards Series, and ASA STARS National Tour, will make its debut in the NASCAR Xfinity Series with Noah Gragson behind the wheel at Charlotte Motor Speedway on Memorial Day Weekend.
Gragson will also run the Xfinity events at Nashville Superspeedway, Michigan International Speedway, and Darlington Raceway (August) for the team. Additionally, Gragson will compete in ARCA events for the team at Sonoma and Watkins Glen.

There are 26 cars on the entry list for this week’s ARCA Menards Series Tide 150 at Kansas Speedway.
Among the confirmed entries is Amber Balcaen, who suffered an injury to her left foot at Dover Motor Speedway a weekend ago. Balcaen says she has been cleared to race this weekend despite the injury.
