Berry, Wood Brothers Racing Paying Tribute to 1996 All-Star Victory at North Wilkesboro
As Josh Berry sets out to make his second appearance in the NASCAR All-Star Race Main Event this weekend at North Wilkesboro Speedway, he will be driving a very special paint scheme for Wood Brothers Racing.
Berry will throw it back to the 1996 season, a year when the No. 21 team captured the victory in the NASCAR All-Star Race with Michael Waltrip behind the wheel of its Citgo Ford.
DEX Imaging will serve as the primary sponsor for Berry’s throwback to Waltrip’s unexpected triumph nearly 30 years ago.
Berry, who won the NASCAR Cup Series event at Las Vegas Motor Speedway earlier this year to secure his place in the All-Star Race, also drove his way into the 2023 NASCAR All-Star Race by way of the All-Star Open in the No. 48 Hendrick Motorsports Chevrolet.
