Christopher Bell Stays Undefeated with Xfinity Series Victory at New Hampshire
Christopher Bell has remained undefeated in the NASCAR Xfinity Series at New Hampshire Motor Speedway, collecting his fourth victory in four starts at the 1.058-mile facility.
While he wasn’t the dominant force in Saturday’s 200-lap contest, Bell was able to capitalize on a NASCAR Overtime restart with a three-wide move on teammate Sheldon Creed and Cole Custer, taking the lead on the final lap and capturing his 18th Xfinity Series win.
Sheldon Creed came home second, with Cole Custer third. Justin Allgaier and Carson Kvapil completed the top-five in the SciAps 200. Ryan Sieg brought home a solid sixth-place result, with Parker Kligerman, Riley Herbst, Alex Bowman, and Corey Heim rounding out the top-10.
Matt DiBenedetto, who crossed the start-finish line in 17th, was disqualified for having three loose lugs on the right-rear wheel. Instead, he’ll be credited with 38th.

Justin Bonsignore Impresses in NASCAR Xfinity Debut, Spins Late
The final scoring sheet may show that Justin Bonsignore, who was making his NASCAR Xfinity Series debut for Joe Gibbs Racing in Saturday’s SciAps 200 driving the No. 19 Toyota GR Supra, came home in 23rd position, but that finishing spot is in no way indicative of how well the 36-year-old NASCAR Modified Tour star ran.
After qualifying was washed out on Friday, Bonsignore was relegated to a 25th-place starting position thanks to the NASCAR Performance Metric Formula. But after snagging a win in Saturday morning’s NASCAR Whelen Modified Tour event at the 1.058-mile speedway, Bonsignore had his competitive juices flowing, and he was ready to soak up everything about a NASCAR Xfinity Series car that he could, but he wanted to also put in a strong effort.
“I just felt you’re in a Joe Gibbs car, even though it’s my first time here, you’ve got to perform,” Bonsignore explained after the race.

Chase Elliott Leading Field to Green; Qualifying Canceled by Inclement Weather
This weekend at New Hampshire Motor Speedway, the weather is not cooperating with NASCAR teams, at all.
Less than an hour before NASCAR Cup Series teams were scheduled to hit the racetrack for practice and qualifying at the 1.058-mile oval, precipitation moved into the Loudon, New Hampshire area.
Much like Friday’s on-track action for the Xfinity Series, the sanctioning body has decided to cancel qualifying for the NASCAR Cup Series, meaning the starting lineup for Sunday’s USA Today 301 will be determined by the Rule Book.
There was a four-minute practice session run after the cancelation of qualifying, which was scheduled to be a half-hour until rain came and wiped the remainder of the session out.

No Injuries Reported After Joe Gibbs Racing Team Bus Catches Fire at New Hampshire
At 1:19 AM ET on Friday morning, the Loudon, New Hampshire Fire Department received a call of a first alarm fire, which had broken out in the driver/owner parking lot in the infield of New Hampshire Motor Speedway. When firefighters arrived at the scene, they realized it was a motorhome in the lot that had burst into flames.
TobyChristie.com was able to obtain confirmation from Joe Gibbs Racing that the motorhome belongs to the team. The team states that the bus is not the one that team owner Joe Gibbs personally uses at the race track, but that the bus is used more as a space for meetings and gatherings at the racetrack. A team representative confirmed that nobody from the team was present when the fire broke out, and that to their knowledge, no injuries or additonal damage to other buses in the lot were reported in related to the fire.
