Video: Aric Almirola, Daniel Suarez Have Lively Discussion Post-Race at Martinsville

Following some pushing and shoving on the track in Sunday’s NOCO 400 at Martinsville Speedway, former teammates Daniel Suarez and Aric Almirola exchanged words in the garage area.

Almirola would finish sixth on the day, while Suarez would come home a disappointing 17th. And while the two drivers separated from the conversation without any physical confrontation, it appears that both drivers were still at odds with one another.

Ryan Ellis Tweets His Way to Raising Cane’s Sponsorship at Talladega

Ryan Ellis has pulled off the dream that every human has hoped to achieve when tagging a company or brand in a random tweet — he has landed a new sponsorship partner. Following the March 4th NASCAR Xfinity Series race at Las Vegas Motor Speedway, Ellis Tweeted a photo of himself and his team partaking in a post-race meal at Raising Cane’s Chicken Fingers, and he captioned the Tweet with, “Sponsor us @raisingcanes.”

Sure enough, a little more than a month later, the rapidly growing restaurant chain and Alpha Prime Racing announced a primary sponsorship on Ellis’ No. 43 Chevrolet Camaro for this weekend’s NASCAR Xfinity Series race at Talladega Superspeedway.

Chase Briscoe Undergoes Successful Surgery on Broken Left Middle Finger

Chase Briscoe, who has been racing for the last couple of weeks in the NASCAR Cup Series with a splint on his hand due to a broken middle finger on his left hand, underwent successful surgery to repair the broken digit on Monday.

Briscoe’s wife Marissa confirmed on Twitter at 7:42 AM ET that the driver had come out of surgery and that, “all is well.” Several hours later, Briscoe released a video thanking his supporters for keeping him in their thoughts while he was in surgery.
