High Stakes On The High Banks: Previewing The 2024 Daytona 200 For The ARCA Menards Series
It’s not often that an ARCA headline reaches the top story in the TC Daily Pit Stop, but the fact that the series has 50 cars on the entry list for its season-opening event at Daytona International Speedway certainly warrants the top-billing.
2024 will mark the first time since the 2018 season that the series has had over 40 entries on an entry list, and there are some big names listed including four-time Australian Supercars champion Shane van Gisbergen, IndyCar winner Marco Andretti, and last year’s ARCA Daytona winner Greg Van Alst.

Rolling Plains Construction Returns as Primary Sponsor for Ellis, Alpha Prime at Phoenix
Rolling Plains Construction, which served as the primary sponsor for Ryan Ellis and the No. 43 Alpha Prime Racing entry in the spring NASCAR Xfinity Series race at Phoenix in 2023, is set to reprise its role for the 2024 season.
The company, which is the largest fireproofing contractor in the nation, will serve as the primary sponsor for Ellis and the No. 43 team at Phoenix Raceway in the spring.
“I’m very excited to welcome Rolling Plains Construction back to our No.43 team. Last year, we had some downtime during the Phoenix race weekend, and I was able to head out to their Phoenix location to explore and learn a bit about what they do,” said Ellis. “Seeing just how much goes into their processes was really eye-opening, and I’m very proud to be associated with a group like theirs. I’m also really excited to know that we’ll have a big group from their team cheering us on again this year – they brought so many folks out last year, and it was very cool having all that support. I’m extremely thankful to Robert Shippy, his entire family, and everyone at Rolling Plains for their support.”
